W.A.S.P. и MOTORHEAD подтвердили своё участие на фестивале BLOOD STOCK OPEN AIR 2011 который пройдет 12 - 14 августа в Catton Hall
It’s official – Mot?rhead and W.A.S.P. have been confirmed as the final two main stage headliners for Bloodstock Open Air 2011. The indestructible Lemmy and glam shock rocker Blackie Lawless join Abbath and his cohorts in Immortal in heading up what is ostensibly the most metal weekend of the British Summer.
Also added to the main stage line-up today are Swedish power metal institution HammerFall, and Finnish gothic-types Poisonblack, with Byfrost, Primevil and Deadly Circus Fire also being added over on the Sophie Lancaster Stage.
We reckon there’ll be very few people complaining about Mot?rhead making it on to the bill of this year’s Bloodstock – at least as far as everyone with a working pair of ears and even a smidgeon of taste goes – but there’s probably a few people crying off to Facebook already about W.A.S.P. To those people we say this – go listen to ‘Animal (F*ck Like A Beast)’ and tell us you’re not going to enjoy W.A.S.P.’s set even a little. You’re probably the same people who didn’t enjoy Twisted Sister when they headlined Bloodstock in 2010, or Europe when they closed the festival in 2009. We bet you don’t have any friends.
Mot?rhead, W.A.S.P. and Hammerfall are merely the latest additions to the impressive Bloodstock Open Air bill, where they join Immortal, Morbid Angel, At The Gates, Triptykon, Nevermore, Napalm Death, Devin Townsend, Coroner, Therion, Rhapsody of Fire, Kreator, Power Quest, Exodus, and a whole load more bands besides. The festival – as always – is taking place at Catton Hall, over the weekend of August 12-14. Tickets are on sale now through the official Bloodstock Open Air website.
